Judith Brockmann
Judith Brockmann is a Full Professor for Economic Law, Social Law and Labour Law at the Universität Kassel. She studied Law in Hamburg and Paris (Paris XI). Before joining the University Kässel in October 2022, she was working at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg) and has been a member of Universität Hamburg’s Law Faculty for several years, after some years of being an independent lawyer in a Hamburg based law firm. In her research, Judith is interested in interactions between Labour Law and Social Security Law, also in a comparative law perspective. Current projects are focusing on questions of just transition and collective Labour Law (e.g., collective bargaining in the digital age, short time work and advanced training opportunities, ecological performance businesses and co-determination rights). She is member of the European INLACRIS network and the Franco-German research group GEFACT.
