Gábor Kártyás

Gábor Kártyás is Associate Professor at the Labour Law Department of Pázmány Péter Catholic University (Budapest). The topic of his PhD dissertation was temporary agency work in Hungary and in the European Union. He completed his habilitation on the topic of posted workers in EU law in 2021. He has been involved in a number of international research projects, including the European Trade Union Institution (migrant workers) and the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (new forms of employment). Between 2018 and 2021 he supported the Labour law jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of Hungary (Kúria) as Advocate General. In the 15 years of his academic career, he has taught courses on Hungarian and EU Labour Law, atypical employment and collective labour relations.
